The 128bit AES hardware-based encryption enforces password protection and device lock down after 6 invalid attempts to prevent brute force attacks. The end user is required to run this software upon connection to your PC, which means all files transferred to this drive thereafter will be encrypted immediately. This plug and play device comes with a USB extension cord and its slim profile allows it to fit into tightly stacked USB ports on your desktop or notebook computer.

Security features:

• 5 character minimum and 16 character maximum password
• Alpha-numeric password requires at least one letter and one number in the password
• Auto-run prompts end user to set up their password immediately
• No public partition available, drive is 100% encrypted. Split Partitioning has been disabled to prevent end users from creating a public partition.
• Password hint must be different than the password
• Drive reformats after 6 failed password attempts to prevent brute force attacks. All information will be lost.
